Character
Full Name: Catherine Mary Morstan
Parents: Mary Morstan Watson, Pyetr Ilitch Kochevikov
Fandom(s): Sherlock Holmes / Rusalka
Approximate Age: 18
Approximate Time Period: Victorian
History: Mrs. John Watson, abandoned by her husband in a pocket dimension, befriended a couple of historically inaccurate Russian gentlemen. Her interest in Sasha Misurov, pathologically responsible teenage wizard, was purely maternal; her interest in his friend Pyetr -- well. There's Katya.
She was christened Catherine, which is what her mother calls her, and was brought up, for the most part, as English and as Victorian as was possible in a multiversal hub. But she's also had the periodic influence of her father, culturally pagan and atheist by preference; of her father's friend, devout believer in small gods; and of her surroundings, which are totally insane.
Personality: Katya is stubborn. "Strong-willed" doesn't even begin to cover it. Add a dose of teenage hormones and disdain for parents in general, and she's a walking recipe for Trouble.
Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, she also has very nice manners instilled by her Victorian mother, and an easy charm she gets from her father. It is entirely possible to get to know and like her before discovering her hidden powers of Being a Pain In the Neck.
Also fortunately, she has less capacity for magic than your average brick.
